Ladies
We have an extensive selection of womenswear mainly from the 18th Century to the mid-20th Century. We do have a limited range of stock from earlier periods, as well as fancy dress and assorted ethnic costumes. Actors can be dressed with full outfits, including underpinnings, corsets and accessories from our stock.
Mens
We also stock a considerable range of menswear mainly from the 18th Century to the mid-20th Century.
Childrens
There is a wide selection of high quality childrenswear in our stock. As with the Ladies and mens wear, it dates mainly from the 18th Century to the mid-20th Century.
Accessories
Available to hire, we have a choice of original costume jewellery pieces, handbags, masks, headdresses, parasols, canes and other accessories.
Costumiers
Our team of costumiers are experts in dressing period outfits. They can advise on and help with the pulling of stock when needed. They will help dress actors in fittings using appropriate underpinnings and corsetry. When outfits are finalised to be used on a production, they will be booked out and packed, ready to be sent out.
Fitting Rooms
We have four fitting rooms available to designers. Two large rooms are for principal makes fittings and the smaller rooms are nearer to the warehouse are for stock fittings.
Alterations
We are able to alter much of our stock to fit actors. We can undertake complex alterations where necessary and we can also offer advice on what changes can realistically be made to a garment.
